International Open Letter on Brazil’s Cultural Policy to President Dilma Rousseff

Hi!

Several civic society organizations, researchers and activists worldwise are agreed that the brasilian cultural policy is a reference to extract good practices; however, we are worry on the changes the Brazilian new president (Dilma Rousseff) might introduce to the progressses of the brasilian cultural policy. We decided to sign collectivelly an open letter to the President. Please find here an “International Open Letter on Brazil’s Cultural Policy to President Dilma Rousseff” on the possible rollback in Brazil’s cultural policy.

Endorsements of the letter will be collected this week (please send to Silke.Helfrich(at)gmx.de) until Thursday February 10 at 9 a.m. Central European Time.

The letter and signatures will be presented at the World Social Forum in Dakar.
